Since we have quite a bit of wedding photographers who end up reading our blog (as well as potential brides and grooms) I figured I'd write a little post here as a reminder to those togs looking for creative ideas. Recently, I shot Tracey & Brent's wedding here at the Royal in Playa del Carmen. On the beach, we have little or NO way to light our subjects, therefor we need to make do with what we have in these low light circumstances. At the end of the day, its all about embracing the ambien, using fast lenses, and adding a subtle light source!
