Trash the dress in Tulum! so colorful and fun! We started just walking on the streets, found a very welcoming mayan woman that open the doors of her home to us, we love Mexico for that! big smiles and just nice people everywhere.

The turquoise waters were the perfect ending , jumping the waves... what a great morning to trash the dress!

I love weddings that are a mix of culture, emotion, family love and lots of fun!

Karen and Amando's wedding at Akiin in Tulum was blessed with a magnificent rainbow that lasted the whole ceremony (a special Mayan Ceremony too), it was incredible! So many details!

I love weddings when there's so much energy from start to end. Jewish weddings are that way, so much happening! Lisa and Blair choose the beautiful Maroma Resort for their ceremony, the reception was at the beach under a magic tent created by Planner 1 Events and a full moon. Music was amazing and the whole crown couldn't stop dancing..So beautiful!

2011 WPJA Wedding Photojournalism Fall Contest Results

Results out for the 2011 WPJA Fall Contest. As always, we are humbled to be a part of such amazingly talented artists in the industry and pull inspiration from you all!

WPJA hosts a quarterly contests that help each photographer accumulate points. The photographer with the most points at the end of the year is honored with the esteemed "Photographer of the Year." While it seems pretty straight forward, there is one trick, if you place an image in any of their portrait or detail categories, you loose points towards the photographer of the year...
